Conflict Management Strategies

Workplace culture is heavily influenced by the way conflict is managed in the workplace. While many of us would like to avoid conflict, most of us know that conflict is a normal and expected part of communication dynamics. And yet despite that knowledge, we understandably lean away from it or minimize it whenever it occurs, rather than generate the courage needed to use it for all it’s worth. Being trustworthy is one of the best things we can do to create a positive workplace culture and simply telling the truth about what we think can put us into conflict. Ironically, conflict provides us with a unique and potent opportunity to build trust and no matter how we personally relate to conflict, our roles call on us to be courageous and step into conflict as a constructive and powerful way to build trust and a strong team. Whether you are in it yourself or you are helping others navigate conflict, this session will help you see and use conflict as a powerful way of strengthening relationships.
