Department of Health
The first COVID-19 vaccines are here. This vaccine is one of the best tools we have to help us through the pandemic and to resume normal business operations. As HR managers look to guide their organizations through this unprecedented time, it would be helpful to understand the state’s plan for COVID-19 vaccine distribution and be able to provide relevant information back to their organizations.
In this presentation we'll discuss:
Hannah joined the Washington State Department of Health in January 2020 as a Senior Policy Analyst. She is the policy lead for the Department’s COVID-19 Vaccine Response Team. She began her career in public health working for a nonprofit assisting those affected by HIV. After receiving her graduate degree, she transitioned to working for the state. Hannah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Women’s & Gender Studies from Pacific Lutheran University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from The Evergreen State College. Hannah believes that government best serves the public when policies are created and implemented through the lens of democratic governance. In her free time, she enjoys running, cooking, and adventuring with her partner, Cody.
